Eikum Hotel has been known for good, home-cooked food for over 100 years, and the specialty of the hotel has always been our famous dessert - Himmelpuddingen!
We can organize both small and large parties, from 5 to 240 people.
40 years of experience with Christmas parties, anniversaries, parties, funerals, etc. etc. means that you can safely place your next event with us. Here you can get your own banquet room, good home-made traditional food and nicely decorated room.
If you'd rather have a party at your own home, you can order a buffet delivery from us.
Good old-fashioned traditional food
Brita, great-grandmother of Ståle, the current owner, started the tradition of good, home-cooked food back in 1919, and the tradition has been kept alive right up to the present day, over 100 years later.
Ella, Ståle's grandmother, and Aud, Ståle's mother, continued the good food traditions after Brita, and the good smell of homemade meatballs has spread throughout the hotel, year after year, through 4 generations.
Traditional food such as pork roast and meatballs, beef roast, brown sauce, homemade soft cakes and Queen Maud dessert, in addition to our aforementioned specialty, Himmelpuddingen, has been the trademark of Eikum all the way back to its humble beginnings in 1919.
Our dining room has capacity for 240 guests, and we arrange both small and large parties. Today's hosts have more than 40 years of experience in organizing parties.
