Fishing in Hafslovatnet

Hafslovatnet is located in the middle of the village, which is a good fishing lake where you can go angling for trout with otters, dace and sturgeon. 

Fishing licenses can be purchased at www.inatur.no, and the fishing season is from 1 January to 30 September. Use of boats with engines up to 8 HP is allowed, with the exception of the area Straumavatnet, between Straumbrua and Sogebrua. 

Hafslo Fishing Festival is held at the end of August every quarter.
