Fishing season 2022 - Hafslovatnet

Hafslovatnet is located in the middle of the village, which is a good fishing lake, where you can go sport fishing for trout with otters, dace and sturgeon. Eikum Hotell has its own private beach, "Smeagarn", and there are also a few boats available for hire. Fishing licenses must be purchased online, and the fishing season is from 1 January to 30 September. Use of boats with engines up to 8 HP is allowed, with the exception of the area Straumavatnet, between Straumbrua and Sogebrua. Hafslo Fishing Festival is held at the end of August every year.
